Charite Hospital is the main University Hospital of the Humboldt University in Berlin. First established in 1710, it grew to its current size after the reunification of Berlin. Since then it has spread over three locations: Charite-Mitte, Virchow Klinikum and Berlin Buch. The Radiology department at Virchow Klinikum, where the ExAblate system is installed, is the largest in Europe it conducts many treatment programs.
